His shoes are old and worn out; needs shoes with grippier soles!!

Well, Gaylord, you have only two options in life—growing old or dying young. Which do you prefer?

I can relate to this. Old people overtake me on my walkies. It is indeed embarrassing.

While jogging one day, a girl of about 8, wearing a backpack almost as big as her, ran past me.

Sometimes you just got to … Slow down, you move too fast … You got to make the morning last … Just kick down the cobblestones … Look for fun … and then you’ll be … feelin’ groovy …

A real vulture would have waited to see if they dropped dead.

I think the kid (what is his name?) has a steel butt sitting on that cactus.

In my best Andy Rooney voice: “Why is it that most birds prefer to cross a street when they were adapted to fly?

That’s what happens when you age! It creeps up on you and stamina takes a hike in the opposite direction! ☹️

I timed myself the other day. It was once a fifteen-minute walk from my home to the subway. Now it’s twenty minutes. (And my hip joints complain more.)

Irwin, always there for moral support.

I walk and I average +/- 22 minutes a mile, when I hike it’s the same. Where I hike there are a lot of Biathletes and Triathletes so I am slow lol

Just blame the crying on seasonal allergies.

Even Mr. Myers is growing old though he has done Broom Hilda since 1970.

As a vulture he should eschew this walking business and fly free and land on the oldies when they expire, so he can have some lunch!
