Instead of idiot box now they has smart phones.

And I’m reading this on, Yep, you guessed it, A screen. So much for being part of the solution.

I suppose when you live in a space station, even the view of the earth and galaxies from there becomes routine after a time and you look for other things to do.

They must take after their parents!

We adults create the devices, we make apps targeted at kids, we market them to kids, we pressure parents to buy them … and then we get indignant when the kids use them.

But yes, my generation grew up on the boob tube, and if I remember correctly, my parents were shocked that we spent so much time (or tried to) in front of it.

Maybe Pam isn’t watching a TV screen. Maybe Pam is looking at her reflection in a mirror (shades of Narcissus!)

Why stare at a small screen, when you can stare at a big screen?

My son and daughter-in-law let the grandkids bring tablets to the table at meal time. I just bite my tongue and keep my mouth shut.

Do as I say, ……

I walk about 4 1/2 miles every day and it’s not just kids who are glued to their phones.

Just screening their calls.

And here I am staring at my laptop.

She doesn’t do it all day. She has a job. :)

I’m more concerned about the blank pictures on the wall.

You want them to run outside and play? When they live in a space station?

They live on a space station! It’s not like they can easily go outside and play.
