When people do start living there, it’ll be IN the moon more than likely. Because burrowing in gives you a lot of good effects from meteorite protection to heat retention.

You say living in the moon like it’s a bad thing.

At the risk of starting a rant, if you move to a rural area, forget about Starbucks, nail salons and other trappings of over developed urban areas. You’ll be lucky if you find someone to do hair and nails out of an RV.

It’s that they want their own little slice of Heaven- and as Sartre said, “Hell is other people”.

Yep. There you go, “Wall themselves off” FORT HOME, exactly. BTW got that from a Urban Sociology class I took in the early 90s. Stayed w me ever since.

What I don’t get is people who have yards but never use them.

Commuter communities empty out in am and refill in pm. Like ocean tides but more precisely scheduled. Older communities have varying flows, depending on average ages, physical conditions, and med schedules. It all seems to work.

My fear is the new, “ work from home” office drones will continue to move to my semi rural area. And bring with them another Starbucks and their urban nonsense.

I just want peace and quiet – without having to spend hours on the road to get to an office.

The problem with you two is that your definition of location is : inside or outside.

My biggest compliant about HOA’s is that they are generally run by people who were hall monitors in school. I suppose I’m dating myself, but that’s okay. I’m a cheap date and if I play my cards right, I can have my way with me.

So what’s the purpose of this rant against millions of homeowners based on one neighborhood?

My beef is with people that buy expensive lofts with great views and yet keep the curtains closed.

I love walled and gated communities. After the revolution, it will be so easy to move the locks to the other side of the gate and turn them into prisons…

Frazz uses an Aero press! Somehow I’m not surprised. Great product placement… I wonder if Mr. Mallett sees any little benefit from the plug.

I heard a common sense idea that seemed like it had a lot of merit. It was VP Harris during an interview this week. During the interview Harris said she supports putting home care for the elderly under Medicare. Now I realize there are many factors at play here, and this idea will be played different ways politically, but it seems like it would go along way in helping the lower and middle class families.
