Small: “Sleight” of hands. Large: An eager “beaver”.
You’re both on the list.
Every contract has a Santa clause…
Eddie Haskell was a friend of Wally Cleaver. – eldest son in ‘Leave it to Beaver’.
Had to look it up, so figured I’d save somebody the aggravation.
Small: I’d like a nice snooze.
Small: That sleigh looks like it has been rode hard, and put away wet!
1. It looks like Santa’s gizmometer will need to be framinized and glominated… or is it framinated and glominized?! … I always get those two confused.
2. Oh. Hi, Mrs. Cleaver… I mean Santa… gee, your hair looks real pretty today.
Growing up, I looked a lot like the Beev although no-one called me that. The thing is, my name is Ed, and Eddie Haskell was such a jerk I never liked being called Eddie. To this very day, I cringe when someone calls me Eddie.
maybe the sleigh is still under warranty…
Tell June to get the Cleaver ready…
Good news…….that thang got a hemi????……….the ole boy needs the encouragement!!!
The first panel is bogus. Santa has the most competent mechanics on the planet in his staff of elves.
Sled has a steering wheel, and levers, for shifter? for blinkers? I likes it…
Whoo…now there’s a blast from the past!
Q: Who can run as fast as Rudolph but not stop as fast? A: Adolph, the brown-nose reindeer.
I didn’t even have to read the caption on the big one, except to get the name.
He’s a rackonteur.
Haskell with your nose so brown, help him turn that frown upside down…
Thank you, Mike!!! What wonderful memories this brings back for me! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Leave it to Beav… er, Reindeer.
Caption 2: Santa’s sycophantics like this.
Caption 1:
“So what’s the damage?”
“To the sleigh or the cost of repairs?”
“Yes.”
Hmm, two “naughty news” panels.
2nd panel: poor ol’ man must have tennis elbow and rotator cuff issues, what with all those cookies he stuffs into his pie hole!
I already knew, but I appreciate the favor you did for the “younger set”.
Hi there Mike Baldwin, this was a great laugh/toon! Merry Christmas to you and yours.
