I do like dodgeball but making it hurt less is important. At the same time, you need to be able to throw the ball well

Back in the early 1960s we played dodge ball in Junior High with volley balls. You want to whine about getting stung by the balls they use today? Try getting hit by a volley ball thrown by a big 8th grader.

My school uses foam balls and no.1 nobody complains no.2 there is a rule you have to aim for the parts under your head and no.3 you cant hold it too tight or it just gets scrunched.
