We used to have Novembers like that here. But because of global warming and climate change we are reveling in sunny and balmy climes. All the girls are out sunbathing in their bikinis and margarita sales are off the chart. Woo Hoo.
Could they send some of that rain my way? We’ve had a severe drought with red flag fire warnings for over a month now. And the early morning haze I’ve driven through is not fog. Thank goodness I still have my N95 mask. We’ve had an increase of about 1,200% over the average number of brush fires in the past month.
That’s something I could never figure out. A couple out walking together, but not together, with one usually a few feet ahead of the other. I see it on the trail daily as my dog and I take our walk.
A Danish poet a couple of decades ago wrote a poem that in translation goes: “The year has sixteen months: January, February, March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November, November, November, November, November, December”.I you’d ever spend a November i Denmark you would fully understand the underlying emotion!

Yes, last week we’re supposed to have warmer temperatures next week but I see now they’ve changed their mind.

Rain, rain come again.
Make us wet for many days.
Rain, rain come again.
Let us breath fresh air again.

It’s warm here (relatively) in Northern Michigan. It’s creepy and unsettling. I hate it.

Here we have sun, clouds, rain, sow, warm temps, and cold temps all in one day.

It doesn’t matter much how old I grow, oh how I hate to see October go.
