The thing I remember the most about about Bobcat Goldthwaite is his crazy voice. Don’t know if he’s done anything lately, though.

Possibe reference to Bobcat Goldthwait (note spelling), a very shouty comedian. I saw him at the finals of the San Francisco Bay Area Comedy Competition. He was doing well but got so worked up he exceeded his alloted time and was disqualified.

Rip has never been much into the social graces.
