It’s a macho thing. Because when men do anything in a macho way, it’s rarely a good decision…

Macho almost always has a “bully” element to it. You always have to show you’re tougher, especially than the little guy. So the macho cruelty and MAGA are sympathetic to each other. Cruelty is always the point.

Stupido is as stupido does — final poll of the 2024 presidential election showed that the more engaged that a person was with politics and public affairs, the likelier that that person would vote for Vice President Kamala Harris.

According to the final NBC News poll of the 2024 race, 76% of registered voters said they follow public affairs and politics closely. The poll showed Harris winning among that group by 5 points over trump, 52%-47%.

But among the remaining quarter of voters who said they don’t follow politics closely, trump was ahead by a much greater margin — 14 points, 54%-40%.

These less-engaged voters were disproportionately younger, more Republican-leaning and less likely to have college degrees — all groups of voters the NBC News Exit Poll showed Democrats struggling with in the election results earlier this month, especially compared to past presidential races.

trump didn’t campaign against Harris. He campaigned against reality. And won.

Whatever the reason, these are people who think they are safe from those problems. We’ll see if they will have to change their minds, I fear so.

Machismo culture. Look it up.

I like the sign on Barriobucks! Someone in our area wrote on Facebook that he was so worried his mother-in-law would be deported because she is an illegal ~ he put his address in the post so you would know it wasn’t fake. Said he was really hoping she would be able to stay. This was a joke…………. I think!

Twenty years ago a friend of mine went to Mexico and wrote a theses on sources of humor in Mexican comic books. You are supposed to find three points for a thesis. She found 1) humilation of women, 2) violence against women … After a year of research, she never found a third source of humor.

Times change. A woman is President of Mexico. However, it’s harder from some to change their old ways.

Should that be mothers-in-law? I never could figure it out.

They want men to be able to grab their daughters, wives, mothers and mothers-in-laws as tRump said.

Traitor Trump himself has always been weak and cowardly (which is why his own father couldn’t stand him). He always picks on the disabled or other people who appear even weaker than he is. He tries to project strength but has never convinced any intelligent people

Of course, maggots are never intelligent people….By the way, can we deport Marco Rubio?
