Well, the rhyme says he fell, it doesn’t tell us why.

Now it all makes sense.

Cats would never eat eggs that look like this.

Bet you can’t jump and land on your feet.

He’s allergic to cats. He sneezed hard enough to lose his balance. The cat will testify that it was not his fault.

Aha. Me was knews it.

It has been a great fall.

Of course he was pushed. It was his parents pushing him to make something of himself. So he made a mess.

Humpty Dumpty was not necessarily an egg. I think he was a clay milk pitcher.

How Humpty got dumped.

From above the king’s kitty,

The king’s kitty cat,

Looked down from the wall,

And saw Humpty go splat.

So Humpty Dumpty was a gravity test.

A little eggs-aggerated.

Eggsciting for cat. Eggsaspertaing for egg.

What’s new, pushy cat?
