People are astounded at ancient monuments and buildings and can’t understand how they could have achieved this. Well this partially explains it. Also they didn’t have their noses in a phone 24/7 either.
Now to get them to shovel the walkway! I have 100 ft path to keep clear to the firewood (40’ ramp and 60’ over to polebarn), plus up the driveway, in front of the mailbox, and around the car. Takes more to keep car in carport and shovel the driveway completely. No time for building things. I do remember making snow angels in the back yard with my husband. He was always fun (died nearly 20 years ago).
unless it was too frigid we spent most of our childhood winters outside, building snow forts, sledding, exploring. I feel sorry for the kids that spend their days indoors on devices or watching TV

They built just about the ugliest cat I believe I’ve ever seen!
Okay, I’m being told it is the Spanx or Spinx or Sphinx or sump’n. Whatever… still looks like an ugly cat.

Where did they get that much snow? There shouldn’t be any on the nearby ground. Maybe they used the same techniques as the original builders did.

The story that Napoleon’s men shot off the nose is not true, there are photos of the nose missing before Napoleon came to Egypt.
