I was in the hospital once and there was a guy all suited up in orange plastic coveralls and a mask with a respirator. His job: clean the room two doors down the hall from mine.
My imagination ran wild as I stared at the ceiling vent wondering if the air conditioner maintenance guy changed the filters recently…..or are they good enough…..or was he the patient in that room……or are the filters even installed……..
Nurse came in and gave me some morphine…..I didn’t give a sheet after that.
gotta luv it when they tell ya “you’ll feel just a little pinch”… I’ve been pinched, and I’ve been stung by honeybees and wasps, so, no… it’s not a little pinch. It’s much more like being stung!
During a hospital stay for severe angina a nurse actually threw the hypo at my stomach for the daily heparin shot, I said she should have shouted “thar she blows!” first. remarkably it was painless too.

I have to say doctor, that I am a little concerned after seeing all those pin-holes on the wall next to the window.

That does look like a serious disease, requiring drastic treatment… but I don’t think launching the needle from a bow will help.

Morphine didn’t touch my pain but the fentanyl did, though!

I see a problem with his technique, how is he going to retrieve the needle.
