I spent an hour climbing an 8’ ladder the other day, carrying an empty bucket up and a bucket partly full of gutter gunk (we have oaks and firs) and hauling it to the compost area. I was surprised how sore my thighs were the next morning.

When I retired in the early 2000s, I did nothing for 2 weeks, then got bored out of my mind, so I started working at HD. It was fun while it lasted (5yrs). Now I keep busy doing a lot of little things around the house.

Truthfully, men permanently store up all their career frustrations for their retirement nightmares.
