I have never once heard that, probably cuz it makes no sense. People are just plain stupid thinking anything in THIS world is free. If you get 2 4 1 , it just means the original item was priced twice as much as it’s worth. And actually MORE than twice, as they are still going to make a profit.
Commercialsm gets steadily worse every year. It’s strangled the so called ‘spirit of good will’ (which my mother didn’t believe. She said it should last all year round). It’s encouraged a competitive attitude and greed.
Okay. not to be a kill joy, but Santa Claus (The pudgy guy in red with a white beard) was a coca-cola advertising campaign about a hundred years ago. It worked. Not sorry.
In real life, it pays to know something about accounting and what is known as Cost Of Goods Sold or COGS… which tells us: there is never a free lunnch…
Vizio, the TV maker, collects all kinds of data about our viewing habits to sell. Walmart just bought it more for the data than having a home brand for their stores. I have a Vizio, but it’s a stupid TV with no connection to the internet, etc. Ha ha ha!

So the drones over head are collecting info? I wonder if they can see past all the huge inflatable decorations out in everyone’s yard. :)
