Not only does Frazz control the thermostat, but he’s almost always working, keeping his own personal thermostat elevated….meaning the school’s thermostat is set lower. Then again, when you have a bunch of people in one classroom, it tends to elevate the temperature. I suppose what really matters is whether or not the AC works when it should. It’s hard to teach kids who are lethargic and overly warm. . . .especially after lunch!
Wondering what she did outside her comfort zone that she was so pleased about? I kinda don’t get this komik. IF anyone can enlighten me, I would be thankful.
Frazz’s statement implies that “the good stuff” is ONLY available outside your comfort zone. If that were true, how would you have a comfort zone in the first place?
My “comfort zone” is in a favorite recliner with a big bowl of either cheese puffs or Fritos and a big ol’ glass of sugar laden black cherry kool-aid or a chocolate malt kicking back and watching a football game or UFC competition. Yup, and I haven’t been that comfortable in many years because there’s not one gram of that that is healthy for me in any manner.

Whatever they’re talking about, it’s probably one of those things you’re glad you did once, but that you will never do again.

Are books outside her comfort zone? Watching a classic movie? What the heck is Frazz talking about saying the good stuff is elsewhere?

This one had me go back to yesterday’s offering to see if I’d missed something. Then I got it…

To think of all the time I wasted on those college textbooks when I could’ve just asked an 8-year-old what constitutes great philosophy.

This makes me think of “Fight Club,” in which people from seemingly low levels of society indicate what kind of power they wield.

Out side your comfort zone, at the end of the day, honestly, you know, give 110%, it is what it is, by the way, everything happens for a reason, ….
