What happened to my 59 followers? I’ve thought of them as my little family. Have they been blasted into nothingness?

marg they have been saved and will reappear later according to Kenny, the comicgod who is working on the revamp. Some of these improvements are great if you give it a little time!

How about “favorites”? I always liked that feature, I could cheer the author without having to post.

I like the dot that tells us when a strip has been updated. This site is WAY freakin better than that other comic site, which sometimes doesn’t load into my browser window or sizes the strips so small that you have to click on enlarge to see it…God forbid the actual site content interfere with the ads that engulf it!

The bucks will show up when all us Geniuses renew our subscriptions!

Teresa, I have to admire you for turning down the money they offered you. That’s sticking by your principles! What? You accept money for this? Fie! FIE!!

clicked on FA comments button and ended up at EEK (?) had to navigate my way here… so much work…. next to arrive, lots and lots of ads… the way to make dough on the Internet…. and/or they’ll finally find a way to tax this stuff….

I like the strip across the top. I would like to see the enlarge button back, though. I don’t see any more ads than before. Are you saying that the Geniuses (formerly Pros) now see the ads?

Oh, and I REALLY like staying in the path after a comment or a visit to the previous day, rather than having to back-peddle. I wish they could post a cartoon that wasn’t up at the time I visited. For example, Barkeater is usually late, so it doesn’t show up in my favorites, and I have to go back a day later to see it. Might be hard to fix.

Well, I for one appreciate their efforts. BTW, my channel is now telling me to get down with the tags so I pioneered with this one. Yep,my first tagging. I am so proud of myself.

I went through the whole transformation yesterday watching the improvements added hour by hour. I don’t think that they are finished tweaking the new look. What I see so far I like, as long as they can bring back the following/follower aspect.

RayC the enlarge button is under the More tab.I just found it.

You can also just click on the comic to enlarge it.

We hated the last time The COMMANDOS revamped the system, but after a few weeks we had figured out a formatting system, learned new shortcuts, got used to the style and with help from the COMMANDOS, the programming and glitches were cleared away.

I’m sure this is another change to include those improvements we wanted (plus a new arrangement ).

I’ll get used to it, hopefully sooner than last time. ————————————————–

@JDG Favoriting is still here. You can either click on the star at the bottom right of the comic strip, or from the “Add to Collections” menu.

We’ve also added a page to view all of your favorites. Which can be found on the homepage/dashboard, or from the collections page.

Enlarge a comic is still here. Just click on the comic strip and it will popup with a larger image. You can also do this from the “more” dropdown.

Following/Followers will be back. Your data is still intact, but we wanted to pull it down, and give it some more thought.

Thanks, Wicked, Jot, and Kenny for the information on how to enlarge the strip. Like some others, I’m quite happy with this arrangement. Now if you guys could just send your html or whatever you use to Comics.com, I’d be even happier.

I’d like to still be able to look at back issues of the weekly comics. The site seems more streamlined now, but an an ungenius we can unfortunately only look at the last 7 days

FWIW I like what “they” have done so far. I can skip around to my choices easier and don’t get lost and have to start over when I deviate from course. I wish another “comics” would clean up their site as well! Good job so far guys.

The new site is a lot slower.

I like knowing which are new before opening. But now I have to get my Spanish ones totally separate. Oh,well, over all guess we see if our neurosis can adjust.

I was skeptical at first, but it’s growing on me. Generally change is bad. Not having to back up to get back on track after posting, is good.

I like many of the changes, now that I’m over my shock of last night (OMG- a flashback!). Well, I must say the Kenny and Eric and Jot and all you caring people are much more receptive to criticism, and know that we are just grieving our loss of ease with the old way (says a new-comer of about three weeks!)

I miss my two followers. And I STILL can’t do BOLD!

Shikamoo MB: You can still bold, you just can’t do it on your original post. You have to EDIT your comment and add the formatting tags there. What might be simplest is to create your comment in WordPad or NotePad or a similar ASCII text editor, then post a single-character comment, edit that single-character comment, then cut-and-paste your WordPad/NotePad comment into the EDIT box. This is a bug that should be fixed soon. EDIT: I don’t know anything official; I’m not with UClick. This is just stuff we’ve found and speculated about over at Pibgorn.

Seriously?? I was so sick of the bizarrely sized, totally blurry comics page I was about done with the site myself. Thank god they finally grew it up into something a little more professional…
