Lila could pull a couple of shifts at a local “gentlemen’s club” and make more than a month at Metro Mart.

One Christmas I brought my family to work. I gave my kids a roll of quarters and let them at the vending machines. Then let them watch movies on the projector TV in the conference room. They thought it was great.

I wonder where Annie is now and if she’s having a merry Christmas?

I always worked the holidays and weekends when I could. The pay was better and no one was around to bug you. I could get so much more work done without interruptions.

I was an industrial electronic electrician, working holidays for triple time was great, nothing was running, and nothing broke down. Just had to keep the power on.
