Much as I dislike Capp’s drunkenness, I gotta admit that the Vicar is a pompous @$$!!

Lerner & Lowe – a bit more Andy’s era, considering he fought the Germans in Africa under Montgomery. Such veterans rarely sing the sort of stuff he mostly sings these days.

Must be one of those Scottish malts. Dear lord they have too much time on their hands.

VICAR: “Have you ever thought of drinking responsibly, Mr. Capp?”

ANDY: “I have, Vicar. Have a nice evening.”

However bad Andy’s singing is it most likely is better than Lee Marvin’s.

The Lord Built his Church upon the Back of Apostle Paul and the Gentiles and not Peter and the Jewish. The Vicar is obligated to comment upon drunkenness or sin of anyone. His calling. Not hiding his light under bushel basket.

That would be an awesome name for a beer.

One wonders how often the vicar’s been assaulted.

I’m not condoning violence but these day people need little excuse.

That’s an idea…market your beer under the label “Responsibly”, and then Andy and friends can all boast that they drink responsibly! A rival brand could be called “In Moderation”.

He is responsible, for drinking every drop.

“Responsibly” would definitely be alcohol-free.

I doubt that Andy is singing that song with the smooth bass that Lee Marvin did.

I’ll bet the Vicar has a few nips at the sacrificial wine daily.

Sooner later, someone will probably come up with an ale named “Responsibly.”
