Journal is the French word for diary, she’s a snob.

Writing and not using a computer to store it.

She’s waiting down all her tattles!

At least she’s writing things down instead of entering stuff into a computer, tablet, or phone. If she really wants to confuse Hammie, she should learn cursive!

Wait till you read that thing in years to come!! You’ll write mere words for days you can’t forget, and pages for days that you can’t remember!!

I’ve never kept a journal. As such there’s no evidence.

I was supposed to do the same thing as I approached retirement. Hammie’s right, it felt like homework. In the end, it did nothing for me.

I so dislike writing then diary, now journal, when in high school, class I had teacher required it, I totally disliked it, so with pencil wrote as light as I could, heard teacher complain about me to woman training to be teacher assistant, she stated had to use a magnifying glass, made me more determine to write even more lighter.Mean time to ones like me born today Happy Birthday, over looked by New Years Eve.My day starting out great, received from church a nice birthday gift I opened today a sweet card and word search book I love those, eating out, and then cup cakes with ice cream, my sister/husband with us, husband has a gift for me too, and to finish birthday watch ABC Rocking Eve and then record CBS. We do not go out evening.

I had to journal for a highschool class. Decided to push the limit and wrote down Everything I did each day. After the first week review by the teacher, she said I could stop as she didn’t have time to read my entrie plus the other 29 student’s entries.

Welcome back to the world, where people have referring to ‘journals’ for ages.

But strictly speaking, distortion is correct; a diary is a simple record of events, not what Zoe is writing.

“Journal” makes it sound like you actually got out of the house

Hammie, someday you will come to the realization that the word Journal is female speak for “keeping a record of things I will use later against you in an argument.”

With that drama queen, the journal will become a novel. However, the fact that she is writing in her journal by hand rather than typing it, is a plus.

I agree with Hammie. Tried doing Diary and Journal-ing a few times when young because it was expected. What I learned about it was that I didn’t like what felt like Homework and I hated caving into stupid expectations so I quit doing both.

If l accomplish something important, someone else can write about it. I haven’t got the time or desire to write about it myself…..

I used to use a loose leaf notebook. Haven’t written anything in some thirty or thirty-five years. Was over 800 pages last I recall. Writing comments in Gocomics.Com and NorthEscambia.Com took its place.
