Good way to start a fire, Hammie.

A college fund can be converted into a start a small business fund. Unfortunately, many small business owners don’t make more money than working at McDonalds.

Get the kids German lessons and use the fund to afford apartments. If their grades are good, they get a great education and there’s no tuition.

Why not a high-paying “Blue Collar” job? Earn big bucks and no college loan debt.

Learn a real skill instead of just wall paper in a frame. >

I can see Hammie making a great life for himself in a trade. College isn’t for everyone.

Forget it! No college will accept Hammie! A science institute maybe… as a lab rat!

He’ll be a successful jelly bean polisher and very happy, you just watch.

Some students go to college and all they get out of it is a student loan that plagues them for years, and years, and years.

You can use the money to get him into the trades, via a apprenticeship or a trade school. He’ll end up making way more money anyway.

College funds??? None for us, both wife and I had to pay our own way by us working and small grants, and one small loan, (which I paid back). Our sons did the same, with some help from us for books and materials, for they wanted to do it on their own, and we were very proud they did, and for the lessons they learned by that experience.

Hope his mom remembers to check those pockets before tossing his pants into the washer.

Might get a degree in mechanical engineering and design a flying car or something cool.

I’ve already got a couple of schools that have great robotics programs in mind.

kids today are brainwashed into believing they need to go to college to succeed, if you are average or below I doubt you will do well enough in college to justify the expense

Why waste money on college, paying for them to be brainwashed? Send them to a technical school where they can learn to make a living.

Ya’ know, Wanda, college isn’t for everyone. Maybe you should think about a different path for Hammie. He’s already going in the wrong direction most of the time.
