Coming Soon đ At the beginning of April, youâll be
introduced to a brand-new GoComics! See more information here. Subscribers, check your
email for more details.
When I was 6 and my brother was 9, he started a Monster Club with his friends; they met in our cellar. He âdecoratedâ that section with silly string for spider webs and other things like that. Then I discovered my favorite doll was missing. She was a âdancing dollâ (a ragdoll-style doll that was as big as me). I found her. She was hanging from a noose from the cellar ceiling, splattered with fake blood, and with a gardening hand-rake stuck in her back. I had nightmares for weeks, and my mother put an end to the club.
Presumably when the strip was written the idea was that the audience would think Jason was weird and out of touch for not catching the reference to some trashy mid-00s reality show. But now we think Peterâs the weird one for making the reference in the first place.

If it wasnât for the pesky cement foundation, you could dig a basement under the basement.

Donât you have to bury someone in cement in the basement to make a real Monster House?

Window facing North might be okay.

That reminds me of the movie âFright Nightâ.

The window is okey but the mirror is a deal-breaker

Nah; theyâve got to get in and out somehow.

They will. Although if you have it blacked out, they may let you get away with it.

Jason might want to watch âSaturday the 14thâ for a few additional ideasâŠ

I remember that show. Big problem was when people wanted to move, no one wanted to buy.
