New moon used to be a big deal.

What she anticipates and what she plans.

I have a question…When will this strip get new material to work on and with? this is a school, new teachers and students cycle through a school all the time; yet, we seem to keep doing the time warp with the same crew over and over.

The Q & A session has already started.

It is so much fun to look forward to what we might do in the coming year, than to review how little we accomplished in the closing year.

Why do I get the feeling Mrs. Olsen wasn’t even talking about the start of the new year?

He doesn’t notice the start of the month because he doesn’t have bills to pay.

Boy, this kid really knows nothing. Not everyone cares about the start of a new year. Start of the month can be important for wages, rent, bills and such so many people do care about that. The start of the week is Sunday (check the calendar) and no one dreads that. And the start of the day is midnight so most people should be sleeping. Sheesh.

It’s because we have survived all those other starts.

If each day would start with a starting gun, I myself would start!

I’m sure Caulfield notices the start of April.
