They must be watching the CBC. They recently presented a Nature documentary entitled “Apocalypse“ filled with lies about global warming. If you can’t shout “fire” in a crowded theatre, why can you shout “apocalypse” in a crowded world?
Typical of the Left. If they can’t control your speech (or even understand your argument), they react with a belligerent, self-righteous rage intended to stop the conversation. You can’t argue or even discuss a topic that conflicts with their preferred narrative.
Having a debate over policies with pros and cons, both supported by facts is one thing. Having to deal with misinformation, disinformation, and assorted double down lies hiding behind the guise of truth is quite another and that is the problem we are dealing with in all free and democratic countries. The scale of the spread is unprecedented. Any platform that promotes questionable information should be accompanied with qualifiers. Any platform that continuously promotes known lies should be shut down. It is simply a matter of maintaining a healthy society. It seems very unhealthy right now.
OK. It’s their platform, you just get access to it. Although it may be a public forum, it isn’t a public institution. They own it, they get to say what can be shown on it. If you don’t like their rules (or what’s said on their platform), either find one that agrees with what you’re saying, or make your own, wherein YOU get to decide what people can and can’t say on it. Why should the Government get to tell a company, whether publicly or privately owned, what they can and can’t sell, as long as the product is legal to sell? (And, please, don’t start squawking about hate speech. That’s legislating morality, which is why we have that pesky first amendment. I don’t like hate-filled vitriol any more than you do, but it’s your RIGHT to be able to voice your beliefs.)

People will start shaving their eyebrows to spoof the surveillance state’s ubiquitous eyebrow readers.

More people should read the first amendment. Briefly, concerning speech, it says you won’t get arrested, but doesn’t guarantee a platform.

These days, you can’t say anything for fear of " hurting someone’s feelings"! Talk about sensitive, thinnned skinnned generations!
It’s not like the older generations who grew up in the:
SCHOOL OF HARD KNOCKS!
