Coming Soon đ At the beginning of April, youâll be
introduced to a brand-new GoComics! See more information here. Subscribers, check your
email for more details.
According to some people, youâre supposed to wait until January 6th to take down your Christmas tree. I was going to wait a few days and take my tree down on Monday, but I think Iâll take it down today instead. It isnât looking very nice anymore since the cats have been climbing in it (I havenât caught them at it, but I see bent branches that suggest Iâve had cats sitting in them) and theyâve been knocking ornaments on the floor. Good thing my ornaments are mostly unbreakable and that the living room is carpeted. The tree is kind of a mess now, so I might as well take it down and restore order to the room.
Mollyâs folded up crate takes up nearly all available space under the bed, so I spent yesterday reorganizing closet shelves for fall and Christmas stuff. Wish the rest of my house was now that tidy.
I took down the Christmas decorations yesterday. I try to keep stuff organized so it will be easy next year. I put all my Fancy Feast ornaments in their original boxes so I write the year on each one.
You can tell this is an early strip. No way would Lily willingly hang out with Chesney nowadays. On another note, saw eight varied thrushes while out walking today.
2:30 in the morning, Central Time, and still no new strip. Since I wonât likely come here to the comics in the morning hours, I guess I need to post the January third âholidaysâ here.
Friday, January third is:
NATIONAL CHOCOLATE COVERED CHERRY DAY. I can take these or leave these. Most of the time, I leave them.

Yep, rechecked my mail and have the update. In the meantime, I had hit Random and reread Chez finding his sea faring father. Fun stuff!
