Coming Soon 👀 At the beginning of April, you’ll be
introduced to a brand-new GoComics! See more information here. Subscribers, check your
email for more details.
Our last one was “Dicte – Crime Reporter”. Current one is: “HPI (acronym for French: Haut potentiel intellectuel, lit. ’high intellectual potential’, an alternative term for giftedness) is a French-Belgian crime-comedy television series.”
Since I am heading for the end of season four, I’ll put in a good word for ‘The Americans.’ I missed it when it first came out, and I’ve been fascinated since I tried it.
I don’t have the patience to binge watch TV shows any more. Some people want to see every episode. I say, “that’s enough, I don’t care what comes next. Let’s find something else”.
Last time I binged was a show called Lie to Me. It’s on tubi. 3 seasons, I spaced the episodes out a bit. Heh heh. Kept hearing his accent for weeks after I finished it.
We’re rewatching Modern Family for the second time, i.e., it’ll be the third time we’ve seen the whole series, but we don’t binge. The only other series we’ve done that with are Cheers, Frasier, and Life in Pieces, although that last one might only be rewatched once. We’ve only recently started watching Silicon Valley on Blu-ray discs from the library since we don’t subscribe to Max. It’s cringeworthy but admittedly funny. That used to be my world when I worked for Netscape. Now I just read comics online.
The digital subchannels are showing many old series’ that I’ve been bingeing on. I finished Stargate SGN, Rizzolli and Isles, The Closer, Major Crimes, and others. I’m working through Buffy and Grimm.

I binge watch. It sometimes takes weeks to get through a season.
I might watch two episodes once or twice a week depending on how boring the rest of the TV schedule looks.
Most of the time, my TV is tuned to my favorite network: OFF.

This waste of wishes is why there is no “World Peace”. Come on folks give it a chance.

Not saying that’s better, just how it is.
