Lil has done more funerals than most pastors.
Well, there does come an age, where “dressing up to go out with your friends” usually means a funeral comes before the socializing over a meal.
“No days older and no more in debt”? (“One day older and deeper in debt”) ☺

Well you just can’t sit and wait for death to take you…ya gotta be busy and not think about it
For some (of us) a great “reward” comes (will come) after they/we die.
But it’s not because of (or a reward for) hard work. It’s an unearned gift.

Same thing happened to my dad. He lost his dad when he was 7 and had to work in the family shop until he left home at the age of 17. He worked hard from then until he retired at age 65 and died 6 months later. God rest him.
