It’s like April Fool’s Day, only until noon on the day.

Got a lot of “Happy New Year….maybe.” this year.

Chinese New Year is coming up. Another will be along for Spring.

Usually I’d say it for a week. This year I’m not saying it at all

For this particular year, it seems inappropriate to say it at all.

People start saying “Happy New Year” on December 31.

I do it for 3 days.

I say feliz año nuevo and if they respond in spanish I tell them Lo siento, no hablo español

In my opinion, I say good luck this year. We’re gonna need it.
