Coming Soon 👀 At the beginning of April, you’ll be
introduced to a brand-new GoComics! See more information here. Subscribers, check your
email for more details.
Today’s cultural fragmentation must make it hard for comic strip artists. You want to present humor that will appeal to everybody, but there’s no common denominator any more.
I read the first half of the first chapter of Anna Karenina. The opening line is among the best openings ever written. But it seems every character has at least two names and it was too hard for me to follow, so I rented the movie instead.
“All happy families are alike; each unhappy family is unhappy in its own way”.
I remember reading it in high school. I don’t remember a single thing about the story. Same with many of the other “important” books we had to read and forget.

Dragon Ball Z was more soporific than Anna Karenina, if you ask me!

I liked War and Peace, but never got around to finishing Anna Karenina. Will have to try it again some time.
I think I’ll skip Dragon Ball Z, even assuming it’s streaming somewhere. Can’t get around to everything.

I found Anna Karenina to be more engaging and interesting. War and Peace; however, has this effect.

Hope Goku didn’t eat too many senzu beans. They’re quite explosive.

He’s dreaming of Anna in anime, or Anna-me.

I’ve always been proud of myself for reading all ten thousand pages of “War and Peace”, but once was definitely enough.

I was feeling that way about Dragon Ball Z itself, but the new Daima series isn’t so bad so far.

Close, but Annin, like most immortals is unable to stay awake for the whole story. She’s strong, but not that strong.

So, Anna Karenina caused an action game to go inactive?
