Last panel: there used to be a naval air station a few miles from our house. Patrol planes flew right over us day and night. Loretta would be better. Fortunately, they moved that operation to San Diego.
Panel 1: Possible warning to parents in a restaurant with placemats with cartoons to color — ‘Please don’t let your children eat the crayons. While they are non-toxic, they may induce the runs in various different colors.’
I was able to see all the Superb Owl commercials yesterday. Plan to watch a recording of the most recent Grey Cup (number 111) instead of that extravaganza in Nola.
I grew up in the 60’s living under the flight path of a major airport, we could see people in the planes as they came in over our house. And I’ve got the hearing loss to prove it.
Panel #4 is especially relevant today. I rebuilt (reinstalled, really) my PC about a month ago. Last night I was trying to sync some of my files, but it was taking a long time to download, so my PC got a bit warm. No issues though. I put it asleep as late as I could before I went to sleep. This morning, it just woke to a black screen and windows won’t boot. On top of that, it’s doing that dumb thing Windows does, where it acts like your password is wrong even though it’s not, so I cannot even run a recovery on it.
The hardware is old, so I should rebuild it, but I am still waiting on the new line of AMD video cards that are supposed to come out in about a month. I guess I should consider this motivation to get started on that project. Time to start researching components for my next big build…

Panel 5: Since it’s Sunday, Loretta plays and sings hymns. In this case, she is singing, ‘Hark, An Awful Voice is Sounding’.

At least these two are married to each other and not bothering the rest of us.

Look at his face in the first panel- He’s totally going to pull that chair out when she goes to sit!

The first one is funny! About finally taking her to a restaurant without place mats to color!

Bottom right: I’m surprised he doesn’t have noise cancelling earbuds, and not just for her singing.

There’s no such thing as 110%.

I prefer to eat at restaurants where you don’t need a flashlight to read the menu, and where those menus have decimal points in the prices.
