When he gets a little bigger, he’ll hide behind the curtains with his feet sticking out during Hide and Seek.

No no, it’s the kid that is supposed to have his eyes covered. That’s how mom disappears.

Just sit there and giggle. Trust me, it’ll make her day. Moms are so easily amused.

Object impermanence?

Go sip what? Milk?

Schrodinger’s mom. She may, or may not, reappear.

Well, she hates when you whine and scream just because you have a damp diaper….

“ What’s the scuttlebutt? What’s the latest poop?”

Is “Peek-a-Boo” just an American thing,or does the rest of the world do it too?

When my oldest nephew was little (he’s 35 now, how did that happen??) we would hold up a blanket when playing peek-a-boo. After a while my arms would get tired and I would just put the blanket over my head and tell him No Peeking! He would laugh, pull the blanket up and yell “Peeking!!”

I hid some jelly beans in Teddy’s pocket.

She gave him enough time to say that?

Good ol’ object permanence.

When she comes back, she’ll have your nose, Watch out ! ;-)
