Weather forecasts have been getting amazingly accurate these days. Temperature forecasts in my area, along with those for rain and wind, have been really super accurate.

In my late teens I fractured a bone in my hand. It healed nicely but for many years after my hand could predict rain coming.

Going with Janis on this one. I have a “weather knee” that is highly accurate on rain and thunderstorms.

My head will ache when a low pressure front is approaching. The stronger the front and/or the faster it moved in, the more my head would respond with a pressure headache. I used to have to just suffer through such pains but a couple a times a year, these weather headaches were so severe I couldn’t make it to work. When I was working, I would tell co-workers when a rain storm was approaching approximately 24 hours in advance. They used to scoff at my predictions until they learned just how accurate I was. It used to be a miserable “gift” to have since the headache stuck around until the weather front passed through. Then I discovered that Excedrin worked like magic to rid the headaches because it contained caffeine. In fact, caffeine is so effect in getting rid of the headache, I now take 1/2 of a caffeine tablet instead of the Excedrin. I don’t drink coffee or soda, so apparently the caffeine jolt I get when I do consume it interacts with my brain somehow to thankfully rid the pressure of the headache.

The wife’s weather toe is accurate for incoming precipitation. The Texas A&M method of predicting weather: hang a rope out side your window. If it moves, it’s windy. If it gets wet, it’s raining and/or snowing. If it freezes, its a cold snap.

And, speaking of accuracy, I really like Weather Channel’s radar

This is the slowest moving comic. I only read 2-3 x a week, and still nothing has happened.
