OK so same school, probably. Same friends, definitely. Same places to hang out. By my standards (cross country twice while I was in elementary school) that’s like changing bedrooms in the same house.

This raises an important question. Where does mari live? Do we know? I have a decade of the strip in book form and I’m still not sure we know.
