Can you talk to the chickens for me?

Is that why this milk is so warm?

Why buy through a middleman when you can get the milk straight from the cow?

Does any place still deliver milk like that now?

Does the cow have to milk herself or does she have an assistant?

And this is why there is no egg shortage in Canada. They have a multitude of small operations, hence a multitude of baskets for their eggs instead of just a scant few like in the U.S.

Delivering the milk is their primary concern, how they get it there is secon-dairy.

Then this has got to be fresher and cheaper, right?

Raw milk? Pass.

I like milk, I could drink a whole stein of it.

Tomorrow’s even quicker. Bessy will be here at 6AM, have a bucket and stool ready to milk her.

And cut out all those nasty food inspectors.
