One of the great things about Ukrainian Christmas. It’s on the gregorian calendar, ten days later. Or at least it was, up to last year.

My birthday is a week after Christmas. I got a lot of birthday presents that were Christmas after sales.

Jackie Gleason had a good gag. He said his father told the family that they weren’t Roman Catholic, they were Greek Orthodox. They never went to church but they did get Christmas stuff at a steep discount.
