Of what I know about ants, very little…here in FL they move their hills almost daily

I imagine this is how some residents in Southern California are feeling right now.

When I was a kid, I used to find little tiny colored Indian beads carried by ants and scattered aroundthe outside of their anthill… They were originally left over from tribes that occupied the area manyyears before… I still remember seeing green, blue, red, and white beads each being very small . . .

Eh must be em not bitey ants.

They obviously are unfamiliar with casting ant hills in molten aluminum. There’s always one in the comments section that aks, “How did they know the nest was empty before they poured the aluminum?” As we say in the South, “Bless your heart…..”
