She’s got quite the arm, able to throw her snow that far. Good aim, too.

I’ve never tried shoveling 2 feet of snow overhand over my shoulder. Wouldn’t maybe 25% of the snow on the shovel slide off on top of my head? But to each his own.

Welcome to Canada. You spend hours cleaning your driveway… and then the snowplow comes by…

It appears he is just throwing the snow behind him. At first I assumed it was her snow filling up the path behind him, but looking at the first panels it seems he is not throwing his snow off to the side at all.

Human snow plow. You shovel your driveway, they come by and plow it back under.

I live at the end of a cul-de-sac. Years ago the plow used to leave a big pile of snow at the end of my driveway, but now they make the turn so I have ten feet of unplowed snow in the street in front of my driveway.

I had a neighbour once who used to shovel all of his snow into our front yard. My mother got tired of it and, one year during the January thaw, dug a gully so the melting snow would run from our yard into his driveway

They both have a long way to burrow to get to a sidewalk. Eons to go.

The problem is not shoveling snow; it’s where to put it. One winter when I was in New England I had walls 10 feet high on either side of my driveway.

Glad I have a snow blower? I would be blowing my snow behind Jane just for fun. But this guy would bury himself alive. Another example of why these people are evolutionary dead end.

I live in a townhouse. After one snowstorm, I had finished shoveling out my parking space and went in to warm up and relax. I look out the front window and see they guy who was parked next to me clearing off his car and shoveling the snow under my truck. I just opened the door and said “Dude, not cool”.

    Fortunately, he stopped after that.

By the way, having a pickup means that I have some place to put the snow. I think I would have accepted him adding the snow to my truck, if he had asked.

Precursor to a great snowball fight. Also opportunity to build neighbourhood community as everyone helps each other clear the snow.

It looks funny, but there is absolutely no sense in someone shoveling a path backwards.
