We used to go to a campus cafeteria that was part of the food service training. Always something different, and very cheap. One of the quirks was that the menu they posted would describe the main entree in tasty detail, but then follow it with “served with vegetable and starch.”
I always thought somebody needed to tell the students that listing the sides as “vegetable and starch” was not a great way to entice customers, but I guess it didn’t dissuade us…
