He should’ve repeated her line back to her “dig deeper” while looking at the tip jar.

All of us are in financial distress, except the 1%. That isn’t news, trolling or gossip.

Money comes, money goes. Much like the stuff in the tip jar! :D

Face it, Hawthorne, you’re not digging deep enough.

Who would have thought that Hawthorn could be troubled by a surfeit of gossip?

There’s money in the tip jar in panels 2 and 4, but in panels 1 and 3 it’s empty.
