Oh,about a week back…..

I’m glad Batty has resigned himself to his comfort zone of lame humor after his failed attempt at defending free speech. Then again, if he’d kept it up, maybe Herr Drumpf would have sent him to Gitmo and saved us all from this nightmare. Hmmm…. almost makes losing democracy worth it.

Ed; instead of hauling a convential mattress up stairs, why didn’t you have the delivery people, or, your son-in-law, and, grandson do it?

Huh. I think this might be my last time reading Crankshaft. I’ve enjoyed it for decades and Batty has just ruined it the last couple of years. I kept going out of habit, but I find I’m not bothering to click on it any more. I’ve enjoyed the snarkers, but I haven’t enjoyed the mean spirited ‘defenders’ and I certainly don’t enjoy the strip any longer. Anyway, see you all in Pickles and Mary Worth.

Always have a new mattress delivered. Make THEM lug the thing into your home. Direct them, if you must, but you shouldn’t have to place a piece of quasi-furniture. Good people will take the old one out to the curb for you, too, but don’t count on this. You must tip them, though. That’s the rub! LOL
