Yes, that’s generally how marriage works, or so I’m told.

I take care of the cat’s litter box, take him to the vet as needed, let him in in the morning and make sure he has food and water. My wife buys all the pet supplies and food, puts the flea medicine on, trims his nails, changes the food and water, and puts him out at night. He always sits on her lap unless I’m the only lap available.

We had a dog, my older brother got it. Then he spent 4 years in the USAF. Dog went nuts and did flips when brother came home. Another brother went in for 3 years, dog met him with the high 5, I went in for 2 years but took another year to get home and dog met me at the door.

“Nelson, once I fed him I couldn’t get rid of him”!

She got grampa when she had him de-wormed? That’s not very romantic.

Isn’t Earl the one who walks him? I’ve never seen Opal do it.
