Not only is Darth Vader gonna fire all the Empire employees he can, he’s gonna ruin their pensions by tanking the economy with his ham handed policies and egotistical blundering on the world stage.

Unfortunately, it’s a too horribly accurate depiction of our pathetic Democratic “leadership” to be funny. And still not so much as a peep challenging the ongoing coup from any Democratic former president, vice president, or presidential or vice presidential nominee. Nor from any of the Republican ones. Cowardly collaborators, one and all.

The AP was incredibly soft on Trump during the campaign, as was all corporate owned media.

They were afraid of losing access. So, Trump devised a loyalty test and they failed — losing access.

If this doesn’t give you cold chills, look at Clay Jones cartoon from today, and think of Stephen Fry’s joke;”Elon Musk is not a Nazi. The Nazis made good cars.”

Absolutely spot on. Democrats across the country should print this out and mail it to Hakeem Jeffrie’s office.

Why does so much attention get paid to Susan Collins, senator from the great State of Maine? She loves to portray herself as a moderate, yet she always ends up toeing the republican party line. Every time. She is not moderate, she is just acting that way to stay in power in a relatively purple state. Yet the media goes there, again and again, hoping that maybe this time she’ll actually do something. She will not.

Democrats are hampered by one simple obstacle, they tend to act within, and with respect for, the law. Republicans, at least the ones currently in power, have no such barriers.

Give Trump credit for inspiring brilliance like today’s strip from Mr. Bolling!

Also – let’s be honest – the Republicans in the House / Senate are afraid of the VOTERS WHO PUT NUMBNUTZ IN OFFICE so we can’t blame the representatives who just want to hold onto their sweet gig.

During the Republican primaries, the only candidate who called on Traitor Trump to exit the race was Asa Hutchinson. Chris Christie correctly pointed out that Trump was running to keep out of prison—but only after he himself had dropped out.

In past years, we have been able to correct this sort of mistake with an election, and with three branches of government and the constitution putting limits on what could be accomplished, the damage was somewhat limited. Trump has the Supreme Court in his pocket, and a Congress that is afraid to do anything. He ignores the constitution and no one stops him. So, can we count on the election in four years to stop him?Why do you think he is firing everyone who might hinder him and hiring Trump fans? We may or may not have an election in four years. Trump did float the idea that Covid required that the 2020 election should be postponed. And, since he is making most of our historic allies furious with the USA, a crisis is quite likely. But even if we go to the polls, will it matter if the votes are counted by those who were chosen for their loyalty to Trump?

"“When they go low, we go high” – Michelle Obama

Honorable ideal. The stuff we teach our children to aspire to. The very principle and value our Founders set for this Great Nation. In a Nation of Laws we should uphold and follow the Law allowing equality for all. However, there are times when we must fight fire with fire.

’It’s your game, you made the rules. Don’t get mad when I beat you at your own game using your own rules."

When our enemies fight dirty we fight dirtier, whether with our military, the CIA, the FBI. It’s nothing we can’t do. The Democrats are playing by the Law while tRump’s cabal is not. ‘Leaders’ like Schumer offer no fight or level of success in fighting for this Great Nation. Until the Democrats step up and fight the good fight, our Great Nation will be in the destructive mode set 4Âœ weeks ago. Do they have a leader who can step up? We have yet to see one. But in every crisis this Great Nation has had in our history we’ve had a great leader step up and take back the Nation to what we so love tom brag about. It can’t come soon enough.

Talk about nailing the Republican-light neoliberal corporate owned democrats to the wall. That cartoon perfectly summarized why I left Democrats 15 years ago and became a Green. The Democrats are not on the left. They are in reality a center right party. anyone who thinks different is delusional and you only have to look at Biden’s, Obama’s and Clinton’s record to prove my point.

When the good people of the United States come out from under the anesthetic and recover from the shock of what they have wrought, they will take to the streets in protest and rebel against the Musk/Trump atrocities. Even those who voted for him will realize the horror that has been loosed.

When this happens, and trust me it will, the question becomes which side will we find the military and the police on? While Trump can count on much of the local police forces to be on his side, he is terrified of a coup d’état. That is why he’s desperately trying to immediately purge the military and promote his perceived loyalists. The police forces are already ideologically compromised but how much of the military is alt-right remains to be seen.

Comes the revolt against Donald the Dictator and Musk the Manipulator, which side will the Armed Forces be on? Will Trump ask Putin for Russian troops if our’s go against him?

Remember Arab Spring? Who led those masses of citizens? I think it was spontaneous outpouring fueled by sheer numbers. We need numbers. Be visible, audible, and persistent. We can’t wait for “leadership” from politicians. They’re not leaders. We are our own leaders. Visible, audible, persistent.

The GOP have never been our friends. Now that they have achieved a solid foothold, don’t expect them to go away without resistance. The Democrats are fighting last century’s war still. A basic expectation that the rules will be followed.

Who isn’t free in this enlightened and technologically advanced future? Did the Empire reintroduce slavery?
