It takes me about half the day to change all the clocks and devices here.I use WWV (Atomic Clock) out of Fort Collins, CO for the greatest accuracy.

Most of my clocks are atomic, too. Some of them predate the home computer era.

I hate the time change. Just pick one and leave it there.

It usually doesnā€™t affect me that much, but the last ā€œfall backā€ took me a week at least to get used to.

Iā€™ve already changed my bedroom clock. My wristwatch, microwave and stove clocks can wait until I go to bed tonight.

Hah! Iā€™m sure that went over well with Rancid! I would ordinarily surmise that Rancid advised him not to repeat that trick this year, but Brutusā€˜s comment leads me to believe that he forgot about it.

Iā€™m retired, couldnā€™t care less anymore. But I remember those days of staff showing up late and if they did make it in they looked like hell. Does the aborigine doing his walk about know what time it is?

    The change to Devilā€™s Time.

    Itā€™s nonsensical.

When someone says ā€œi get an extra hourā€¦ā€ I want to just tell them how incredibly stupid they are. (I donā€™t like to tell people they are stupid, btw)

    Just be logicalā€¦

iā€™m sure somebody else mustā€™ve pointed this out, but your clock will always be correct twice a day. ā˜ŗ

here in japan we donā€™t have DST. theyā€™ve been ā€œstudyingā€ (meaning, put it on the back burner and forget about it) it for years and years, but nobody seriously thinks itā€™ll ever be adoptedā€¦

The issue why does it have to be at 2 AM? Luckily Iā€™m a night owl so Iā€™m still up, but others must hate having to get up in the middle of the night to change their clocks.

ā€œIntentionallyā€? Okay, Brutus, but you canā€™t tell that to Veeblefester, so you have to say it was an accident. That drops you another peg in his estimation of your abilities. And once youā€™ve fumferred your way past that one, you still have to explain (having shown up two hours late for work on Monday) how it was that you didnā€™t notice the error all day on Sunday. Down another notch in the bossā€™ eyes.

Or do you just figure that youā€™ve already hit bottom in his assessment of you, and so it just doesnā€™t matter at all?

As a retiree, I donā€™t bother changing the time anymore. I just add or subtract an hour as required.
