She holds onto Mom’s dress

cold with fear. It’s June’s guess

that a goose just walked over her grave.

“Mommy, Timmy isn’t in the well, he is right over there…”

“Mom, those geese are telling me to push you in the well.”

June is trying to tell Mom that the horse lost its legs again.

In a few more years, those will be two boys where the geese are, in pretty much the same pose after goosing her.

June isn’t bustin’ out all over – yet.

Of America’s still here by June/

And Trump remains fully immune/

The Ukrainian plain/

Will be Putin’s domain/

And Elon will own the moon.

Before the invention of the Shetland Pony, Arkansas folk would simply saw off the legs of a regular horse so the kids could learn to ride.

Young June later took an axe

And gave the gander several whacks

But as to the goose female other

She spared it as the Story Mother

As was shown in June’s bloody tracks
