The suspense created here by Joe and Mike reminds me of the old Saturday chapter serials at our local movie house back when I was a kid. Flash Gordon, Rocket Man, etc. For fifty cents we got two cowboy movies and a chapter from a serial.
@APersonofInterestI agree with the movie serial comparison. WPIX, New York City’s channel 11, used to show the serials weekday afternoons, back in the 60s.And yeah, B-B Eyes is up to something, but with Joe and Mike, I bet it isn’t anything as simple as having another gun!
Don’t forget the air tank in the old tire. He said it saved him once. I doubt it would have been mentioned in the story line, if it was not going to be used for an escape attempt.
