The farthest planet from the sun, you bet. Mr. Rickard, are you trying to stir up some controversy here? A lot of people still love to think that Pluto is a planet. :)

Pluto has four known moons. How can it not be a planet?

Pluto was “good enough” to be included as a little clay blob in the diorama I made in 3rd grade (first place!)… that makes it a “planet” to me!

__“Planet” is a word… Pluto is.

If Pluto is a planet, then so are other Kuiper belt objects.

Everyone knows that Pluto’s downgrading was a Kenyan Socialist Muslim conspiracy.

GWB’s No Child Left Behind act included math and reading. No mention of science. Gee, what a surprise, given that Republicans don’t believe in science.

Pluto has an eccentric orbit, and currently it is closer to the sun than Neptune.

“Sumerians had a chart of the solar system with Neptune on it”That’s disputed, Radish, but we still need an explanation for the Nephilim, the Great Pyramid, the Mayan calendar, Göbekli Tepe, etc.

Scientists are human, but as a group they work together globally, learn real things, help us all.

Some may make errors, puff up about their things, but peer review stops most of this with no problems.

Scientists are far more reliable than any of the competing clans of politicians, or the varied financial interests, or the theologists of 10,000 religions.

I’m with Nab on this one. There are some sacred cows (sacred mostly to politicians) that one cannot doubt without risking his or her reputation through ad hominem attacks. This is religion, not science.
