TJ was the one who couldn’t keep his stupid mouth shut!

He’s acting like he hasn’t a care in the world. As far as he can see, he was able to convince Toni that the whole thing was her fault. I’m hoping that this is not the case.

And if she’s not careful, history may repeat itself. Again.

She didn’t bring TJ down to the firehouse to go over the events that have led to the present. He has been there through the whole affair. She is laying the foundation. She is building up to something.

I don’t know if it will be another 10 years, but I think we have seen the last of Ann for a while. As Greg has said, he keeps his villians in the wings in case they are needed. Right now, she is no longer important to the script.

I think she might have found him a job :P

Please, could you knock off the “dyke” stuff? The way you’re using it is derogatory and totally unnecessary . It has nothing to do with Ann’s evil nature, which is really what’s objectionable about her.

It’s also not accurate in that Ann’s not masculine in the least – she’d be a “femme” if anything. And since she made a definite play for Brad, it’s really not relevant here.

Come on TJ, get her to join in another scheme with you, and get her into trouble again.

I have to say I like TJ’s plans in general. They keep the story flowing.

Poor Toni, she is putting herself down for what happened to Brad. And ol’ Mr. Smiley is right there piling on. Toni’s self esteem right now is very low.It was because of feelings like this that Dirk was able to control and manipulate her. I actually feel sorry for that poor girl. I hope she can forgive herself and move forward from this incident!

all I got to say is that if Toni wanted to vent and talk to someone, should not have been TJ…….. should have been Luann, or even better, Mrs Horner(they already met, when they were judges on the beauty pageant, and when she helped Mrs Horner move)

It was TJ who precipitated this mess, Toni. Don’t lay the guilt on yourself!

Is Toni really so lame as to ask TJ for advice when it was his plan that started the whole mess to begin with. Get a clue Toni or are you as clueless as Tiffany?

Toni still seems to have that victim mentality. She seeking punishment from an outside source to assuage her guilt.

Me thinks this is a plan hatched up by Toni and Brad to teach TJ a lesson. Case being, the end of the story arc from two weeks ago implied that Toni and Brad worked things out and came to an understanding of the situation.

Wasn’t TJ the one who calledToni and told her to stand up and fight for her guy? She should be blaming him.

I hope this is not the start of another “plan” to help Brad.

Hoping she is actually turning the tables on TJ.

I think what you guys are failing to see here is that by stepping in she showed Brad that she doesn’t trust his ability to handle a difficult situation. And of course by allying herself with TJ she’s only going to make situations work. I think we all know how she’d make it up to him in the real world.

TJ planted the idea of confronting Ann into Toni’s head. Some people are instigators like that, though not all do it deliberately or viciously, as some are implying here.@mojitobaby – Will you take a chill pill? Evans draws and writes Toni as an intelligent lady who seems to have her act together. However, he seems now to show her as clueless as to the actual instigator of this mess. Or, like the earlier poster said, she and Brad realized who started this and in their own way will get TJ back.

I don’t buy that. Having his girlfriend give up half her job so he can get half a paycheck doesn’t regain Brad his maculinity, it would make him a laughingstock.

They’d each have HALF a job.

And benefits? Would they get benefits with half a job? The department wouldn’t want to provide two benefit/health packages for one FTE.

I agree with several who say that this is really an unusual act for Toni. She’s beating herself up for a mistake and is confiding in TJ secretly when she knows what a screwup he is. I really can’t figure why Greg portrays her this way. Will be interesting how he develops the arc to show her in a good light – because she appears to have a victim mentality today.

I see this going one of a few ways:1) Brad follows TJ and assumes there’s something else going on….i.e. more unnecessary drama.2) Brad and Toni have cooked up a scheme to “get” TJ.3) Toni wants to surprise Brad somehow to make it up to him- and she wants TJs help because….he plans well? She needs him to do something? Yeah…or because she still doesn’t get how slimy he is. 4) Perhaps a combination of 1 and 3.

Or, maybe none of the above and I’m just overthinking things again!

Seems clear to me— TJ, watch out! Toni & Brad reconciled, Toni explained what happened, Brad put it into context, and together they hatched a plan to teach TJ a lesson. Yay!

I hope Toni didn’t try to get brad his job back, and i hope there are no further repercussions. Ann was a cougar, a manipulator, a sexual predator. Toni misjudged Brad, but he misjudged her first. In a relationship, you talk.

Toni doesn’t really seem like the type of person to want revenge. This meeting is about Brad, not revenge on TJ or Ann.

I smell Toni wanting to give her job up to Brad, just trying to get a scheme together that’ll make that happen. She’s got the right guy for that, but the scheme will work out about as well as any other TJ special. Still, I sense Brad getting Toni’s job, and Toni getting… I don’t know… pregnant? Just guessing.

TJ would know about that as he is a master at creating messes.. intentional and unintentional..

Maybe she’s finally going to make Brad happy in that “special” way and wants TJ out of the house for the entire evening and most of the next day?
