When I ask my 8 yo if she’s washed her hands after she goes to the bathroom, she’ll say, “Hmm, I might have forgotten something in the bathroom, I’m going to go check.” Yeeaaah, right…Dogsniff, in honor of your reinstatement, I upgraded to Pro yesterday because of how GoComics handled it. It seems to me that although they can’t please everyone, GoComics is doing the best they can to keep this an enjoyable website for everyone. They are responsive and are doing a great job as far as I’m concerned. Since they support our community, I figured $12 isn’t much to support them. Thanks, GoComics!

The missing word, Calvin, is “clean”. As in “It took a half hour to clean that floor.”

Of course this completely backfires on her with the strip where he steps in dog dirt and she tells him to stop screaming across the house for help with it, so he walks right through.

This is amazing. I don’t think I have ever seen this one, and I practically have every Calvin and Hobbes strip memorized.

About 1970 I worked for WT Grant (remember them?) and one customer walked right in with muddy overshoes, much to the annoyance of the janitor.

Around here, our weather has been milder than usual, so instead of a skating rink, our parking area is a mud bog. So the white tile floor in the bathroom becomes a muddy mess the day after we clean it. When people have “to go” they don’t take the time to remove or clean their shoes.
