I woke up so happy this morning and now I know why! Right now I don’t care who have taken them because it is so wonderful that they are all together! (And is that the transporter?)
The Endtown mini-comic that I produced for Comicpalooza 2011 is now available to YOU for the offensively low price of $2.50 (price includes s&h, international add $1 for each copy ordered ). Besides sporting a snazzy full color cover, it contains an all-new 22 page story that is available nowhere else. And just because I feel like doing it, I’ll sign and personalize (if desired) each and every copy I mail out. Simply pay via PayPal using my email address, aaronneathery@gmail.com, and be sure to include your mailing address. If you can’t pay with PayPal, send payment to:Aaron NeatheryPO Box 920558Houston, TX 77292And, just so you know, I’m completely open to donations. The cat and mouse that live in my head will thank you. :-)PS: Just thought you all might like to know that Endtown originals are still for sale. Contact me at aaronneathery@gmail.com for details, prices, and availability.
Check the sides of the container bins! Maybe there’s a notice flier for the recycling service. You can call them and see if they have any need for a used satellite rocket…
Of course, our heroes don’t know about the dittos. They were evacuated from a different location, and were onboard the ship when the dittos “erupted”. They are blissfully unaware that the reports of their deaths have been greatly exaggerated.
You know, Aaron seldom seems to draw detail for no reason. Look at the level of tech represented by the identifiable stuff in this pile: rotary telephone, old style “Kirby” vacuum, radio with a large manual tuning dial, turntable, coffee percolator, vinyl record albums, wind-up analog alarm clock, mixed in with a few computer monitors, a microwave, and something that looks a bit like a dvd player. Strange mix to be just the flotsam of a supposedly high tech world of the near future. Don’t have the foggiest what it might mean….
so the rest of the gang is on this ship (or in the lair, or where ever they are now) and they’re alive too. The TS van is still with them too. but while it’s great that they’re still alive, they also seem to be prisoners as well.
So,our band of heroes were rescued by a mysterious airship as dittos were distracting the TopSiders. Is it a stretch to suppose that the dittos have a master of sorts, who pilots the airship that defies physics? HmmmMmm??
Oh, and cliffhanger? Oh yes. Our heroes are alive, yes, but safe? And to whom do they owe the rescue (or capture)? That remains to be seen…I still think Sparkplug has made his peace with the dittoes and is now on the good side. He wasn’t actually evil, remember, just a little crazy, likely a result of the trauma of catching his mutated wife licking her chops after eating their daughter. The trauma of falling may have snapped him out of his delirium. His last words, after all, were “I’m sorry”…
I was just thinking, assuming they get out of this pickle, if Mallard has any more robots laying around, he could salvage the brain from this PT and Flask could have some competition. Or it could simply provide Petey a love interest if (as is my theory) he turns out to be Flask’s father / brother.
I’m loving it all…and I just started reading with the strip that Holly was fighting with Linda before she was mutated. So I am enjoying all the talk that fills me in on the background story. AND I have to say one does get emotionally involved with these characters. And I have voted every day at your insistence! Aaron, your artwork is fabulous, your storyline captivating and I’ll be a loyal reader for life!! Thank you all for keeping me apprised of what is really happening as certain things are sooo confusing if you haven’t followed from the very beginning. So you have at least one new family member!
Thinkl Ambrose Bierce…“An Occurrance at Owl Creek Bridge”…the main character escaped a hanging and returned home all before—-SNAP!…dangle, dangle, dangle…
I agree with JanBic, Cindy, you need to start at the beginning. Everything that is going on will be a lot clearer, except of course to dozen or so loose ends you’ve probably been reading about. Aaron’s a great storyteller and character developer, so the time spent will be worth the investment. I read all of 2009, 2010 and Jan through around Oct 2010 in three nights. I’ve been a daily reader ever since. Glad to hear you’re voting too. We need just a little help to get this into the top 100 comics.
Many of the things collected in the trashheap are antiques by TODAY’S standards. How long has this thing been up there? Most everything’s been wiped out topside, where’d they get an old rotary phone, a toaster that looks like vintage early 1960’s, a radio from the ’50’s? This ship raid a museum? Of course, the story does not necessarily happen on our planet……..just one that hugely resembles it maybe.
When I voted today from work (after voting from home this morning), I was at lunch. So I took look at the top ten Webcomics. All I can say is, WTF?!? Endtown has better drawing, better writing, and way more heart then the ones I looked at. People need to know!
Thanks Aaron, I came about a thought on observing how shapely Flask is that you may be taking ideas from Judge Parker. His ladies are totaly within the angelic family.Meaning, couldn’t exist as humans. Flask is real. And you are the goodie.Blessed Be.
Hi, I discovered this comic a few weeks ago and have read the entire posted comic series to date. The wally story line is the best one so far, I was very emotionally shocked when they were ‘dusted’ and relieved to see it was not ’real. I have voted on the Top Webcomics list, and as someone else here said, this strip does need to get noticed, it has better heart and story than most of the “top” ones listed currently. Thanks AAron for a story that has more to offer.
Wait aminute. Can I vote more than once on My telelphone?I own just a house phone. If so I have about 20 to 30 votes to present. Worth it and then some.Blessed BE
