good for you Sammi, a pet, no matter what kind is a friend, and loyal companion. Love my dog and would not trade her for a designer pet of any kind.

Most of the cats that I have had over the past few years are ones that have come knocking on my door, asking when supper was.

I feel sorry for these so-called “designer” pets. They are not accessories and they deserve the same love and attention as any stray off the street.

Sing it Sister. And a stray is not icky. Once it has had a bath and gotten shots it is the same as every other dog out there.

A pet is also not a Easter present, a housewarming gift, a new baby gift, a wedding present, or a birthday present. Giving someone a puppy is like giving them a newborn human baby as a present,,how many of us would do that?! A pet is a long term commitment, not a pick me up, just like kids.
