Should have known Nate’s enemies would be his downfall when 1812 came up. Once again, Nate Wright is a loser because he should have listened in social studies class.

Time travel! Brilliant! Appeal to housewives, detention teachers, and scifi nerds.

Maybe zombie Ben was running from Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter.

If he put this much effort into his homework . . . .

Nate hasn’t been studying timelines, have he?

In Nate’s defense, a lot of Americans would probably say Ben was president, because he’s still so visible.

Also in Nate’s defense, how many of us know when Ben died – WITHOUT checking! I didn’t, and should have – I went to a college Ben founded.

They didn’t say BF was the president, just that Claire found him in the White House. Of course BF died in 1790 and the construction of the White House started on 1792 according to Wikipedia, but who cares: after all he’s just a ghost! ;-)

Don’t call Nate a pinhead!

And Claire or whats-her-name was just, like casually walking across the White House lawn. What about security? Guess it was pretty lax.

Maybe Nate should make that Sam Huston instead. Former governor of every state the begins with “T”.And he stands tall in Texas.

I’ve noticed 3 things about Big Nate In A Class by Himself:1, On page 130, Francis is asking a girl who looks like Kelly for her green beans. It can’t be Kelly though because in the comics, it says she is at Jefferson.2. Nate looks for his class notes at the start and it says WAR OF 1812 and then all of his doodles.3. When Nate holds up a sign saying he had an accident and wearing a nappy, it shows a kid that looks like the Jefferson kid, Donald, at the end of Big Nate On A Roll and it shows you a little preview on Big Nate Goes For Broke and it shows you a picture of two boys, Donald and Wesley, and then Gina and Artur.

As a postal worker, I can honestly say that I wish we still had Ben as Postmaster General.
