Artists are never appreciated by their creations, although it did really stink, Goat.

Of course I can, and don’t call me Shirley.

At least Goat isn’t insulting or assaulting Stephan; he’s just being constructively critical. Ironically, Goat is less of a butt-head than Rat.

If even Goat is is complaining you can do better.

Rat would be beating Pastis over the head with a shovel right about now.

I think ones like this are how Pastis gets by on lazy days.

Bwaaahahahaha!!! Yet another reason why “Pearls” is my favorite! Pastis has such a warped sense of humor that is so lacking in comic strips today; the occasional pun just makes it even better!

It really is the comments that take this strip to the pinnacle of success! I make sure I read this strip late in my South African day so that I can read all the comments from around the world. Today, guys you have excelled yourselves!

Maybe Pig should have Juan teach Stephan Taekwondo.
